Acacia Demolition

The Acacia building was identified to be within an area of earthquake influence when the California Geological Society upgraded the Quimby Fault from inactive to active in 2011.

Since then—in an effort to increase safety to students, faculty, and staff—new buildings are being built to replace all the offices and classrooms located in Acacia. Once those buildings are constructed, all occupants will transition to new spaces. The building will then be decommissioned and eventually demolished.

Construction is projected for completion in December 2025.
